Hannah Sullivan

The Grand Rapids Ballet invited Michigan native to choreograph for Movemedia. Sullivan has established herself as a prominent choreographer around the state.

Bio

Hannah Sullivan is a West Michigan-based instructor and choreographer. She is the Co-Artistic Director of the Hearts In Step Dance Ensemble with Tassia Hooks Johnson, writing & choreographing original contemporary ballets every year since the partnership formed in 2011. She is current faculty for Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, LOCALZ iNTENSiVEs, Hearts In Step Dance Academy and the Dance Coalition. Hannah was an Artprize 2013 collaborator and noted performer with the juror-nominated installation “Angle of Repose” by Dance in the Annex (DITA). Hannah’s original works have been performed across Michigan by companies including DITA, Macomb Ballet Company, Blue Lake International Ensemble and Muskegon Dance Company. Hannah is also a featured performer with DITA and various West Michigan productions.
