Cherilene Guzman

Apprentice since 2017

Cherilene is from Houston, Texas, and began her training at a small local studio under the direction of Milena Leben. She then received a traineeship with Ballet West under full scholarship. Upon finishing her training, Cherilene was invited to join First State Ballet Theatre where she danced for a year before joining Grand Rapids Ballet.

What excites you creatively?

Roles that require acting.

What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?  

I’d love to be a pastry chef.
