David started dancing at six in Holland, Michigan. He trained in classical ballet and contemporary at Turning Pointe School of Dance for 12 years, once performing with the senior ensemble for the King and Queen of The Netherlands in Grand Rapids.

A member of the Zeeland Dance Ensemble for the last two years, he trained under multiple teachers in jazz, hip hop, and musical theater. He attended Joffrey Chicago, Cincinnati Ballet, and Grand Rapids Ballet summer intensives on scholarship.

Anyone who values both themselves and other people and their relationships with them.

What excites you creatively?

Music and long walks outside.

What profession, other than your own, would you like to attempt?  

Photographer or pilot.

What is the best piece of dance advice you’ve ever received?

Dance with joy.
