GRAND RAPIDS BALLET SUMMER SERIES

Come soak up the radiant Michigan sunshine with us this August. We invite you to experience GRB’s Summer Series as we embark on a tour to the Great Lakes Center for the Arts, the Summer Dance Festival, and Frederick Meijer Gardens.

On August 17, catch us at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts in Petoskey for a mixed repertory program featuring favorites like Penny Saunders’ “Jump Cut” and Darrell Grand-Moultrie’s “Le Grand Jazz!”.

Don’t miss our third annual FREE Summer Dance Festival at the Peter Martin Wege Theatre on August 23 & 24. Celebrate artistic diversity with local dance artists, food trucks, beer, and wine!

Finally, join us at Frederick Meijer Gardens on August 27 for an evening of ballet under the summer sky, including a revival of “Le Grand Jazz!” and other exciting works.

GRAND RAPIDS BALLET | 2024-25 SEASON

Grand Rapids Ballet is thrilled to present our highly anticipated 2024-25 season. This unique lineup features a blend of inspirational concepts, cutting-edge contemporary works, and euphoric story ballets, programming for everyone to enjoy.

The 2024-25 season kicks off in October with Symphony of Movement, a thrilling first-ever collaboration with the Grand Rapids Symphony on our Peter Martin Wege Theatre stage. In December, we ignite the holiday spirit with the 10th anniversary celebration of our beloved production, The Nutcracker. We soar to new heights in February with the enchanting Peter Pan at DeVos Performance Hall. Spring brings the return of the audience-favorite Jumpstart, where our dancers choreograph world-premiere works on their peers. We wrap up this exhilarating season with a time-travel to the 1960s in San Francisco with Be Here Now at Peter Martin Wege Theatre.
