Grand Rapids Ballet is thrilled to present our second annual FREE Summer Dance Festival this August 25 & 26, 2023. Join us for two evenings of diverse, world-class dance performances, delicious food, and ice-cold beer in the warm summer sun outside the Peter Martin Wege Theatre. Our Summer Dance Festival is free for our West Michigan Community to attend and will kick off at 5 p.m. each evening. 

Our one-of-a-kind performance will begin at 6 p.m. and feature professional companies and dance ensembles from across Michigan. Each evening audiences will be delighted to enjoy performances in a multitude of styles, ranging from classical to contemporary, and ballroom to hip-hop.  Join us for an unforgettable event that celebrates the diversity of our community and brings West Michigan together to enjoy the art of dance.  Performers and schedule to be announced at a later date.

We invite you to bring your own chair so you can sit back and enjoy an evening of outdoor performance.
