Mario Radacovsky
Choreographer
Upon graduating from the Eva Jaczova Dance Conservatory in Bratislava, Radacovský joined the ballet company of the Slovak National Theatre in 1989 and after a short time, gained a contract as a soloist. In 1990, he won the Czechoslovak Ballet Competition. From 1992 to 1999, he worked in the Netherlands Dance Theater in The Hague, director by Jiri Kylian. The company had the opportunity to collaborate with the world’s leading choreographers alongside Jiri Kylian such as Mats Ek, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin, William Forsythe, Édouard Lock and many others.
In 1999, he became the soloist of the ensemble Les Grands Ballets Canadiens de Montreal. In 2000, Radacovský returned to Slovak National Theatre as a guest soloist and in 2006, he served as Artistic Director. In 2010, Radacovský became the Founding Director of Balet Bratislava. In 2013, Radacovský was appointed Artistic Director of the Ballet of the National Theare Brno in the Czech Republic. Read more…
