Embark on a magical journey to enchanting realms with this captivating full-length ballet choreographed by Septime Webre, inspired by J.M. Barrie’s renowned tale about the boy who won’t grow up. Immerse yourself in the nostalgic narrative brimming with pixie dust, the spirited Lost Boys, the notorious Captain Hook, daring pirates, a voracious crocodile, and the fearless Peter Pan flying high above the stage! With live accompaniment from the Grand Rapids Symphony playing a score by Carmon DeLeone, Peter Pan is a humorous, family-friendly ballet that seamlessly blends classical ballet technique with a timeless story.
SUMMER 2025 INTENSIVES
Grand Rapids Ballet School’s Summer 2025 Intensives offer a Ballet Intensive, a Contemporary Intensive, and Dance Camps for young dancers. In the Ballet and Contemporary programs, students take daily classes with our esteemed faculty and engage in a well-rounded curriculum, including opportunities to work with GRB Company dancers and guest instructors. Our Dance Camps provide a fun and active way for children to stay engaged during the summer while learning the basics of ballet, making new friends along the way.

Grand Rapids Ballet is thrilled to present our highly anticipated 2024-25 season. This unique lineup features a blend of inspirational concepts, cutting-edge contemporary works, and euphoric story ballets, programming for everyone to enjoy.
The 2024-25 season kicks off in October with Symphony of Movement, a thrilling first-ever collaboration with the Grand Rapids Symphony on our Peter Martin Wege Theatre stage. In December, we ignite the holiday spirit with the 10th anniversary celebration of our beloved production, The Nutcracker. We soar to new heights in February with the enchanting Peter Pan at DeVos Performance Hall. Spring brings the return of the audience-favorite Jumpstart, where our dancers choreograph world-premiere works on their peers. We wrap up this exhilarating season with a time-travel to the 1960s in San Francisco with Be Here Now at Peter Martin Wege Theatre.

Train at Grand Rapids Ballet School, the educational branch of Michigan’s premiere professional ballet company. Grand Rapids Ballet School offers dance classes for all ages and experience levels, beginning with ballet training for students ages 3-19, plus adult and Adaptive Dance classes. GRBS offers classes with individual attention, personalized mentorship, choreographic and performance opportunities, live piano accompaniment, and a supportive community of dancers dedicated to achieving their goals.
