Halloween sees the return of ‘Dracula’ to Grand Rapids Ballet’s stage
Before the Cullens in the “Twilight” series of films, before Bela Lugosi haunted the silver screen in the 1931 film “Dracula,” the modern conception of Count Dracula began with Bram Stoker’s novel.
That’s the story that returns in Grand Rapids Ballet’s revival of “Dracula,” especially for the Halloween season. The company first mounted “Dracula” in 2011, and will revive the production originally created for Alabama Ballet.
