Merit-Based Scholarships
Summer Intensive merit-based scholarships are available for both our Ballet and Contemporary Summer Intensives and are awarded to prospective students following the audition process, whether in person or through a video submission. Partial, half, and full tuition scholarships are awarded to students based upon their potential to achieve a professional career in ballet through a visible means of talent and passion in ballet technique and artistry.
Financial Aid Scholarships
Grand Rapids Ballet’s Summer Financial Aid Scholarship Program aims to provide tuition assistance for young students eager to receive high quality dance instruction in a nurturing and encouraging environment, inspiring a love for dance and thorough knowledge of technique. To apply, families must provide a completed Financial Aid Scholarship Application, a letter briefly describing the need for financial assistance, and a copy of the previous year’s Federal Tax Return.
To be eligible for a financial aid scholarship, you must be accepted to and carry full enrollment to a 2020 Summer Program (Senior Ballet Intensive, Junior Ballet Intensive, Contemporary Intensive, Young Dancer Summer Camp, or Workshop). Financial assistance is available for tuition only and may not be applied to housing or registration fees.
