Penny Saunders, originally from Florida, graduated from the Harid Conservatory in 1995. Later that same year Saunders began her professional career with The American Repertory Ballet while also continuing to train with Elisabeth Carroll. Saunders made her way out west in 1999 to join Ballet Arizona where she continued to dance the traditional ballets as well as many neoclassical and contemporary works. Saunders was introduced to Moses Pendleton in 2001, which led her to tour extensively with MOMIX Dance Theater for the following two years before moving on to New York City in 2003 where she became a founding member of Cedar Lake Ensemble. In 2004 Saunders joined Hubbard Street Dance Chicago where she had the good fortune to dance works by Jirí Kylián, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek, Twyla Tharp, Christopher Bruce, Doug Varone, Aszure Barton, Victor Quijada, and Alejandro Cerrudo, among many others. David Parsons founded Parsons Dance in 1985 with lighting designer Howell Binkley. Since then, Mr. Parsons has created works through commissions from Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater, American Ballet Theatre, the American Dance Festival, Jacob’s Pillow Dance Festival, New York City Ballet, Paul Taylor Dance Company, the Spoleto Festival, and Het Muziektheater in Amsterdam, among others. His works have also been performed by Batsheva Dance Company of Israel, English National Ballet, Feld Ballets/NY, Hubbard Street Dance Company, Nederlands Dans Theatre, and Paris Opera Ballet, among many others. Upon graduating from the Eva Jaczova Dance Conservatory, Radacovský joined the Ballet Company of the Slovak National Theatre in 1989. Soon after, he was promoted to principal dancer and performed principal roles in classical and contemporary pieces including Romeo and Juliet, Carmen, Giselle, La Dame Aux Camelias and more. He received acclaim for his ability to combine brilliant dancing technique with a natural acting talent and a masculine expression. Radacovský took first prize at the Czechoslovak Ballet Competition in 1990. In 1992 he was invited by Jiri Kilian’s to join Netherlands Dance Theatre. He worked with world-renowned choreographers including Jirí Kylián, Nacho Duato and William Forsythe. Other influences on Radacovský’s artistic and personal growth were Gideon Obarzanek, Itzik Galili, James Kudelka, John Alaine, Christopher Weeldon, Stein Celis, Fernand Nault, Libor Vaculík and many others. In 1999 he became principal dancer with Les Grand Ballets Canadiens de Montreal where he was praised for his portrayal of lead roles in Giselle, The Nutcracker, Swan Lake, The Field Mass, Concerto Barocco, Pique Dame, and others.
