We are so excited to reveal Grand Rapids Ballet’s 46th season! This is sure to be one of the most exciting selections we have presented and we know you are going to be entertained! With classics like Serenade and the world premiere of Alice in Wonderland, we are sure to have something for all lovers of dance.

Black & White: Swan Lake

The return of Mario Radacovsky’s (Beethoven, Bolero) Black & White: Swan Lake is not to be missed. Hailed by Mlive.com as “an artistic accomplishment of the highest order”, Mario adopts a contemporary approach to this classic tale you know and love, full of romance, Tchaikovsky’s timeless music, and cruel deception.

Peter Pan comes to life in Grand Rapids Ballet School Junior Company’s rendition of the classic story. Choreographed by Junior Company Artistic Director Attila Mosolygo, this one hour performance is perfect for kids of all ages. Peter Pan has all the fun and exciting elements of the story, like pirates and mermaids and the vividness of a child’s imagination.

Mini Tales and Bolero

“Mini Tales” is a premiere ballet that will include the following fairy tales- Goldilocks and the Three Bears, Thumbelina, The Three Little Pigs and Jack and the Beanstalk. The program will also include the premiere of the ballet “Bolero,” set to the famous music of Ravel.
