We are pleased to introduce a new structure for our popular Family Matinee Performances.

Grand Rapids Ballet is working to create an equitable and inclusive arts culture. We believe that making events financially accessible to all is an important part of that commitment. Pay As You’re Able ticketing allows us to do just that.

Pay As You’re Able is tiered ticket pricing system that allows you to determine the price that you can afford. The “full price” is the fair market value of the ticket. If you need to pay less, please choose to pay less. If you can pay more, select “full price plus,” and your generosity will help support this program by covering part of someone else’s ticket.

How do I reserve my ticket?

Family Matinee tickets are available Online Only.

1. Select your price point and number of tickets.
2. Submit Order (your receipt is NOT your ticket)
3. GRB Box Office will process your order within 48 business hours.

They will assign seats on a first-come-first-served basis and email the digital tickets to the email address you provide.

Digital tickets will come in a SEPARATE EMAIL from Ticketmaster, and say, “You Got the Tickets!” in the subject line. Inside will be a big blue button that says, “View and Use Mobile Ticket.” On the day of the show, just click this button to pull up your barcodes. The ushers will scan your phone as your ticket.

You will need to be able to access this email on a smart phone. Please do not print off the email or barcode, as the paper will not work.

How do I pick my seats?

Seats are assigned by the GRB Box Office on a first-come-first-served basis. All sales are final. We are not able to move your seat location within the house after your seats have been assigned. If you purchase additional seats at a later time, they will sit separately from you. We recommend purchasing tickets for all members of your party at once.
