Brian Vander Ark’s new ballet

He’s a well-known pop artist who’s always involved in interesting projects, including ones that involve kids. Brian Vander Ark‘s music is now part of a family friendly production put on by the Grand Rapids Ballet.

“Spring Break for Kids: A Different Tune” features music composed by Vander Ark. It takes place on April 8, 9, and 10, at Peter Martin Wege Theatre in Grand Rapids. The fun 30-minute ballet teaches kids that it’s our differences that make us special. It all starts with pre-show activities, when kids can try on costumes, get temporary tattoos, participate in Gymco activities, purchase SchoolZone books and merchandise, and take a free trial ballet class.
