The Nutcracker 2018 Children’s Auditions

Sponsored by the Midland Symphony Orchestra

Open to boys and girls ages 9-18 with at least two years of ballet training, no pointe experience is required.

Audition Registration, August 6-September 11, 2018

• Complete one audition form and fee per dancer
• Registration online – $15
• Registration at the door – $20
• For those selected to perform, there will be an additional $65 fee to cover shoes, tights, and costuming

This traditional holiday classic features:

• Broadway-quality production featuring set and production design by Chris Van Allsburg and Eugene Lee and choreography by Val Caniparoli
• Grand Rapids Ballet company dancers
• Tchaikovsky’s timeless score performed by Midland Symphony Orchestra
• Selected children dancers from the mid-Michigan area
