See the touching farewell for Grand Rapids Ballet’s retiring Stephen Sanford

Grand Rapids Ballet’s Stephen Sanford, who danced the role of the great composer, needed no such assistance to hear the cheering crowds.

The company ended its 2014-15 season with the premiere of “Beethoven,” the third full-length ballet the Slovakian choreographer has created for the company directed by Patricia Barker.
