SPRING BREAK FOR KIDS | PETER AND THE WOLF

Grand Rapids Ballet is proud to present our annual Spring Break For Kids! From April 1-5, 2024, enjoy the enchanting tale of Peter and the Wolf, proudly sponsored by PNC Bank. This special event is crafted for children and showcases the beloved story with Sergei Prokofiev’s timeless music.

Co-choreographed by Artistic Director James Sofranko and Ballet Master Dawnell Dryja, Peter and the Wolf follows the adventures of a brave young boy, aided by his friends—a bird, a cat, and a duck—as they capture a wolf and take him to the zoo!

Join us in the lobby at 10:15 a.m. for pre-show kid-friendly activities. Dive into the fun with costume try-ons, meet & greets with GRB dancers, and capture memorable moments with photo ops (remember your camera!). The performance, featuring apprentices and trainees of Grand Rapids Ballet, kicks off at 11:00 a.m. in the Peter Martin Wege Theatre. Artistic Director James Sofranko will also provide an interactive introduction to ballet during the performance.
