2026 SUMMER DANCE CAMPS
Grand Rapids Ballet School is proud to host our popular Summer Dance Camps, designed especially for young dancers! These ballet camps offer a fun and engaging way for your child to stay active, make new friends, and explore the fundamentals of ballet during summer break.
For children ages 3-6, our 75-minute ballet camp introduces the basics of etiquette, coordination, and musicality in a playful, interactive environment. Little ones will explore creative movement, set personal goals for the week, and learn the discipline needed to achieve them.
For children ages 6.5-10, our two-hour ballet camp ignites creativity and passion for dance. The curriculum focuses on building a strong foundation with an emphasis on posture, placement, coordination, strength, flexibility, and the basic vocabulary of ballet.
At the end of the camp, students will showcase their hard work in an in-studio performance at the Meijer-Royce Center for Dance, giving parents the chance to see their child’s progress. Grand Rapids Ballet School’s 2026 Summer Dance Camps are the perfect way for kids to get active, improve both mind and body, and have a blast all summer long!
