Come soak up the radiant Michigan sunshine with us this August. We invite you to experience GRB’s Summer Series as we kick off our season with the Summer Dance Festival, our annual performance at Frederick Meijer Gardens, and our tour to Great Lakes Center For The Arts.

Summer Dance Festival | August 22-23, 2025

Join Grand Rapids Ballet from 5:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. outside of the Peter Martin Wege Theatre for two FREE evenings of dance, food, drinks, and more!

Frederik Meijer Gardens | August 26, 2025

    • The performance begins at 7:30 p.m.
    • Tickets are free for Meijer Gardens members and included in admission for other guests.
    • Tickets are available through the Meijer Gardens on the day of the performance in the Meijer Gardens Welcome Center or Amphitheater Box Office beginning at 5 p.m.

    Chairs of all heights are welcome, and the permanent seats at the rear of the amphitheater are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Great Lakes Center For The Arts

Our summer season concludes with a breathtaking mixed-repertoire program at the Great Lakes Center for the Arts. Featuring choreography by legendary master Lar Lubovitch, artistic director James Sofranko, and acclaimed choreographer Jennifer Archibald, this performance highlights the versatility and artistry of our talented dancers.
