Nae Regrets
Brian Enos, originally from San Francisco, CA, began studying ballet at the age of 16. After his training at the Maria Vegh Ballet Centre and The Houston Ballet Academy, he was invited to join the world renowned Houston Ballet at the age of 18. After several years performing with Houston Ballet, Mr. Enos went on to dance for the acclaimed Hubbard Street Dance Chicago for eight years, before retiring from the stage in 2010. He’s danced leading roles in works by choreographers such as Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Ohad Naharin, Ben Stevenson, Twyla Tharp, and Christopher Bruce, among others. Read more…

Penny Saunders, originally from Florida, graduated from the Harid Conservatory in 1995. Later that same year Saunders began her professional career with The American Repertory Ballet while also continuing to train with Elisabeth Carroll. Saunders made her way out west in 1999 to join Ballet Arizona where she continued to dance the traditional ballets as well as many neoclassical and contemporary works. Saunders was introduced to Moses Pendleton in 2001, which led her to tour extensively with MOMIX Dance Theater for the following two years before moving on to New York City in 2003 where she became a founding member of Cedar Lake Ensemble. In 2004 Saunders joined Hubbard Street Dance Chicago where she had the good fortune to dance works by Jirí Kylián, Nacho Duato, Ohad Naharin, Mats Ek, Twyla Tharp, Christopher Bruce, Doug Varone, Aszure Barton, Victor Quijada, and Alejandro Cerrudo, among many others. You’ve Gotta Be Kidding Me!
Thom Dancy studied ballet at the University of Oklahoma and has danced with Milwaukee Ballet, Grand Rapids Ballet, and The Big Muddy Dance Company (currently under the direction of Brian Enos). Thom is also a member of Actors’ Equity and has performed at The MUNY in Hello, Dolly! and My Fair Lady (2015), as well as in State Fair with the Ohio Outdoor Historical Drama Society. He has originated principal roles in works by Kate Skarpetowska, Victor Alexander, Brian Enos, and Harrison McEldowney. Read more…
Amazed in Burning Dreams
Kirk Peterson had a distinguished career for 15 years with American Ballet Theatre as principal dancer, choreographer, Artistic Director of ABTII, Ballet Master, Principal Character Artist and as Master Teaching Associate. He was also principal dancer with San Francisco Ballet, Harkness Ballet, The National Ballet of Washington and London Festival Ballet. Peterson was Artistic Director of the Hartford Ballet for five years and Associate Artistic Director of Alberta Ballet. As a choreographer, Peterson has created over 50 ballets including new versions of The Firebird and Le Sacre du Printemps. His choreography has been seen with San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Pennsylvania Ballet, The National Ballet of Cuba, Washington Ballet, Cincinnati Ballet, Atlanta Ballet, BalletMet, San Francisco Opera and The Royal Ballet School. He is a specialist in re-staging the full-length classical repertoire such as Giselle, Don Quixote, The Sleeping Beauty and most recently Swan Lake. He has also choreographed original versions of Coppelia and The Nutcracker. Peterson was nominated for the prestigious Prix Benois de la Danse in Moscow for Othello, created for Alberta Ballet. Peterson was resident choreographer for Cincinnati Ballet for six years and he is also a repetiteur for the Antony Tudor Ballet Trust. Read more…

Robyn Mineko Williams is a dancer and choreographer from Chicago, Il. She was a member of River North Dance Chicago before joining Hubbard Street Dance Chicago for twelve seasons. During her time with HSDC, Williams performed the works of numerous internationally renowned choreographers such as Ohad Naharin, Jiri Kylian, William Forsythe, Nacho Duato, and Johan Inger. She also originated roles in the creations of Jorma Elo, Alejandro Cerrudo, Sharon Eyal, Aszure Barton, Twyla Tharp, and Lar Lubovitch among others. Olivier Wevers is from Brussels, Belgium. He received his training at the Karys Dance Center with Nicole Karys, a former dancer with Béjart’s Ballet du XXième Siecle. He was a Principal at Royal Winnipeg Ballet, dancing regularly with Evelyn Hart, prior to joining Pacific Northwest Ballet in 1997 where he was also a Principal Dancer. Read more…
