ADA SUMMER DANCE CAMPS 2026

Grand Rapids Ballet School is bringing its popular Summer Dance Camps to Ada, Michigan.

Offered through our new satellite location and taught by Grand Rapids Ballet School faculty, these camps give local families the same professional ballet instruction GRB is known for, now closer to home.  As Michigan’s only professional classical ballet company, our vision is to enrich, educate, and inspire through world-class ballet experiences.  Classes are held at Ballroom Dance Ada in the GenAge Center, 6745 Fulton St E., Suite D

Grand Rapids Ballet School’s Ada Summer Dance Camps are the perfect way for young dancers in the Ada community to get active, build confidence, and discover a love of ballet this summer.

Magical Movers I (Ages 3) is an ideal first dance experience for the youngest movers. Through creative play, colorful props, and plenty of imagination, children explore the basics of movement and ballet in a fun, welcoming environment. Leaping, jumping, turning, and balancing are all on the agenda. Stuffed animals welcome.

Magical Movers II (Ages 4–5) builds confidence through themed classes that take dancers to the zoo, the beach, and the circus. Within each imaginative setting, students develop coordination, rhythm, musicality, and an introduction to ballet positions and class etiquette.

Super Stars (Ages 5–6+) is designed for kindergarteners stepping into more structured ballet basics. Dancers learn foot positions, port de bras, and center technique set to upbeat music, with movement concepts like sliding, leaping, and turning woven throughout.

Grand Rapids Ballet School maintains a no refund policy. Once the program has begun, tuition is non-refundable and if unused will be received as a donation. Scheduled holidays, breaks, and weather-related school closings do not alter monthly tuition.

DRESS CODE

Summer Camp Dress Code

Ages 3-6

• Athletic attire and socks, dancewear encouraged.

Ages 6.5-10

• Ladies: solid colored leotard, tights, and ballet shoes.

• Gentlemen: solid colored t-shirt, tights or leggings, and ballet shoes.
