SPRING BREAK FOR KIDS | THE EMPEROR AND THE SWAN
Grand Rapids Ballet is proud to present our annual Spring Break For Kids, April 8-10, 2026! Enjoy a brand-new “fractured fairy tale” told through dance, The Emperor and the Swan, featuring a mash-up of the familiar stories of “The Emperor’s New Clothes” and “The Ugly Duckling.” Witness the ugly duckling discover her true beauty and the vain Emperor learn a hilarious lesson. With new choreography from Grand Rapids Ballet company member Yuka Oba-Muschiana, music by Delibes and Debussy, and narration from GR Symphony’s Sarah Stickney, this new ballet is perfect for kids and adults of all ages.
